This clinic is for new and returning leaders to build their technical and soft leadership skill set. Our goal is to equip club leaders with the skills needed to foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.
Join us for a weekend of camping, climbing, and learning! We'll be leaving from the Memorial Union circle Saturday at 7:00 AM and returning there Sunday night around 5:00 PM. The cost to participate, $15, covers camping and transportation. Saturday night we'll be enjoying yum yum packets by a bonfire with our friends (yum yum!), followed by a delectable dessert of s'mores, both provided by the club. On Sunday, our new trip leaders will facilitate a climbing social for the club!
We have 20 spots at our campsite. Those who expressed interest on the Google form have priority sign up. General sign ups will be made available Monday September 9th at 12:00 PM. Camping gear can be rented from the Outdoor UW office (make sure you ask for the Hoofer rate when paying), feel free to contact other participants to see if they wanna share a tent or other supplies. Gear can also be checked out through the club by emailing our gear managers Josh and Lizz, email@example.com. We can hit Culver's on the way back if we're hungry for dinner.
